The admission procedure for different courses is the same as prescribed by Himachal Pradesh govt. and H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Dharmsala . The minimum qualification for the admission is Matric pass (45% Marks for reserve category and 50% marks for Gen category students) with English, Mathematics and Science.

Duration : Three Years

For admission through counseling Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) conducted by H.P.Takniki Shiksha Board Dharmshala is compulsory. On the basis of the test centralized Counseling is conducted by Director Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training Sunder Nagar (H.P.)

PAT- As per HP Takniki Shiksha Board schedule.

Reservation of seats :

As per rules and regulations of Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board.

Eligibility :

10th pass students (with Mathematics, English and Science)  (45% Marks for reserve category and 50% marks for Gen category students)

Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to 2nd Year) :

ITI Pass students/ 10+2 Science and 10+2 Vocational pass students can get admission in Second Year on the bases of Trade combination prescribed by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Dharamshala.
